C. Frances Fallon's mother went into labor shortly after 5AM on Friday, June 8th, 1984. Four short hours later C. Frances Fallon flew out of the birth canal like it was a water slide, with such force there was an explosion of birthing fluid that soaked her mother. Plenty of time to rinse off the mucus plug/birthing goo and warm up with a nap in an incubator before hitting happy hour.

C.F.F. hid her writing for a long time. She didn't want anyone to know about her diaries. In junior high, she didn't realize anything significant about the outpour of letters she was sending to pen pals every week except for when her parents were out of stamps. In high school, she began to connect deeply with literature when she started reading classics, banned books and most of all: classic banned books. It wasn't until she began to spend hours working on English essays - the length of which her tenth grade English teacher wasn't too jazzed about - that C. Frances Fallon began to sense that she was meant to write.

Hoping to break onto the scene as a wunderkind, C.F.F. hoped to write a brilliant novel before graduating from college. Alas, she was still a baby and had nothing to write about. She started and quit a novel after graduation. She also started but quit a blog while traveling in South America. After returning to America, C.F.F. collaborated on a yet unfinished play that will remain unfinished.

Too old to be considered a prodigy or special or anything of that superficial nature, C.F.F finally finished something - "You Know This Girl," a one-woman show, written and performed by C. Frances Fallon. The workshop production premiered on July 27, 2009 as part of the Buffalo Infringement Festival. It was well received by audience members that did not know the author personally. In fact, the 2009 Buffalo Infringement Festival became something of a coming out party for the artist.

“You Know This Girl” has been performed in Toronto, Grand Rapids, Chicago, St Louis, Louisville, Cincinnati, Pittsburgh and Brooklyn. Fallon won a NYFA Strategic Opportunity Stipend to fund travel for a performance at Pacific Northwest College of Art in Portland, Oregon during Spring Focus Week 2010. Excerpts and abridged versions have been performed in Olean, Jamestown, Baltimore, Durham, Columbia and Charleston while C.F.F. was touring with a music project she was singing with.

C. Frances Fallon is currently living in Krakow - where she is working on several writing projects in a variety of genres, learning Polish and enjoying the beer.
